I started the game playing as Druuchi. And I am losing my first fights. I have no idea how to fight. I have no idea how the enemy seems to beat me even when i am favored. Its so frustrating. And i never have any money. And my people always hate me.

Great faction and nice units but for fucks sake why did they have to get this really annoying slave system? It's an absolute nightmare to manage this system and it just gets worse the more cities you have because you gotta keep managing them all.

A good tactic for ensuring your lord rebelling doesn't cripple you is to keep their army worse than your legendary lord's. In my Clan Pestilens game, I had a bulk of clanrats in front of a couple units of stormvermin, with some skirmishers and artillery support. But Lord Skrolk's army had stormvermin, plague monks, rat ogres, warpfire throwers, death globe bombardiers, the whole nine yards. It ensures that even if your lord does rebel, your legendary lord's army is always capable of crushing it.
i started off a bit bad. got in wars on many fronts at the start and im on the back foot. i will turn in around though.

How to win as dark elves: Declare yourself Eternity King and go to Ulthuan
I hope CA eventually has the time to flush out the lore and backstory as much as possible for this universe. Things like special events, monster bounties, historical events like things that will have happened in that year in the old world would go a long way to immerse and I think it'd be really awesome. Not pushing for it anytime soon cuz I understand that be a lot of work and it's not a priority topic. Still would be cool though

I will let you in on a little secret. The rituals doesn't matter. Even if they finish the final ritual, you get a chance to stop them and you have the other 2 factions who didn't finish as allies. So, its pretty much a guaranteed win and it stops them permenently from being able to attempt it again. So, you can ignore the Vortex and just do the final battles to stop the others and do your own rituals whenever you feel like it.

Just wanted to CA you made an absolutely fantastic game here, I’ve really enjoyed my time with it so far.
It's been multiple weeks since this came out. Your playerbase understands what ritual currency is. We aren't drooling idiots like your playtesters seemingly are.
Here's how you actually win as Dark Elves like you do with every other faction
1. NEVER use intervention forces, because they'll more often than not get wiped out the turn they spawn because for some reason the AI can attack them before they can move (yet you can't with theirs)
2. Don't bother attacking the enemies ritual settlements unless, your boarders are right next to them. It takes an eternity to cross the map, making it very unlikely you'll be able to stop them in time
3. Don't worry if the AI gets ahead – It means absolutely bugger all if the AI beats you in the race, because for them to win, they have to win the final battle. The battle is piss easy for you to stop them and once they lose, they're out of the ritual race forever.
I'm aware this is an incredibly unfun way to play. But it's worth mentioning this to highlight some pretty big design flaws in the campaign. I find myself deliberately handicapping myself to actually add stakes to the game.
Most of the advice in this video is rubbish. The battle advice is good at least, but campaign wise, the advice seems to be based on an idealised scenario. Black arks are usually a waste of money (especially earlygame), because of the crippling additional lord upkeep and have crap autoresolve stats (despite their entire point being a mobile fortress). Their only real utility is unit replenishment and bombardment spells. Sacrifice to Khaine is the best rite to go for most of the time. Slaves have barely any effect on public order. Difficulty modifiers are what causes your PO to tank. Slave management is all about maximising slave populations into a select few settlements catered specifically to them. Loyalty is another complete non-issue mechanic, because it barely ever gets low. swapping units is the only time when it really becomes an issue. And even then, the game is kind enough to automatically give you loyalty events whenever your lord's loyalty gets low to restore it.
How to win as Morathi's faction. Don't use her as a general. Don't use her as a spellcaster. She is horrible at both. How they tranferred her enchanting beauty from -5WS skill into -9 attack is beyond me. She hits like a core caster hero in melee and an eagle or harpies can 1v1 her and completely anihilate her.
