Do you grout or caulk the corners of the niche?
Hi, this is a very random question but do you know where you got that tile from? We’re doing a bathroom remodel and need to match that tile but we can’t find it anywhere! It might have been discontinued but thought it was worth a shot asking. Thanks!
What psycho uses 1/4 trowel for mosaic. 3/16 v notch ftw
Schluter sucks
If I'm using a preform plastic niche, would it be bad if I tiled it first so that back is laying flat on the table, let it dry, and then nailed to the 2×4 and then put the trim and tiled around it?
Or an even better way is to pre-cut the decorative piece grout it and then fitted in place like a hard tile , you're welcome
Do you tile the niche bottom shelf to the edge of the pre-formed niche or do you need to leave a space for the edge trim?
it is NOT pronounced nitch!
Do you prefer to tile the niche before your field tile? Thanks
How do you cut the notch for the large format tile around the niche?
I do bottom, top then twosides so they help hold top up.. Just saying.
Thank you man I love all your videos I want to be a master on tile but I'm not 😢
/niCH,nēSH,neesh/ not nitch
Hahahaaaaa! Don't forget to add the piche to the nitch.
1/4 by 1/4 for small tile seems like a lot in that when pressing it, the thinset will squeeze through leaving a lot of cleanup. Why not use smaller trowel size?
I thought it was pronounced neesh not nich
I love you for the great tips with the grout joint cleaner brush technique….wooohoo
use an HD camera next time
Great tips!
I'm getting ready to tile around and inside a shower window. Was planning to use the same 3 x 6 subway tile and matching bullnose for this roughly 4 1/2 window edge, so would have to make many cuts and have lots of grout lines. Wondering now if should get a larger tile piece to do at least do the bottom ledge. What do you think?
Also doing a niche. Put the back in first before I saw your video – bummer.
On the walls around the window and the niche, where I'll have a bunch of cut pieces, do I put the cut edge next to the bullnose? or flip them over?? Don't think I would but just being sure!
Too bad that metal whatever it is ruins the pocket
Will u help me with a question I have on a niche?
Lol. "Sorry, this trawl is not in the best condition". The label was in mint condition buds!. By the way, you tile a niche doing the top first, then the sides, finishing with the bottom. ( with a slope)
You didn't really show us how to tile a niche. Why don't u just do a video of all the sponsors u have instead
