I love this game. Hard is actually hard. If you don't build your character/s right from level 1 (with knowledge from level 17) you need to restart. You can't respec builds, so hit restart. Your companions aren't min/maxed in a game which requires min/maxing, restart. If you mess up the kingdom management, restart. If you take too long, restart. And I haven't got space for the reload list.
The biggest tip I wish I had known before playing is haste. That spell is utterly broken, made every fight so much easier. I had to bump the difficulty from challenging to hard when I started casting it before every fight.
"Playing on easy is highly recommended."
Me on first playthrough: Plays on Hard and wonders why characters die all the time.
Clerics are freaking crazy. I have tanky cleric with positive channeling. And another negative channel cleric who does nothing but summon monsters and undead. I'm actually considering an all cleric party
You should do a "Please Like, Comment & Subscribe" call to action at the beginning of your videos! Your videos are way too good to not be seen by more people. A call to action will do wonders, trust me.
Totally hitting like for teaching me how to set up a custom formation and appease my OCD at the same time
I love that its RTWP and not turn base
Good game but they really need to stream line it more. I understand that they are wanting to adhere to the pen and paper game but the complexity of it is really offputting to causal players. If the bottom line is sales then make the game more accessible to more players.
None work on ps4 on unfair,I'm doing it my own way.pc is ALOT easier on pc
I wish i had watched this before throwing so many alchemist's fire at my dudes feet
Man, America is pretty worried.
Thank you for the tutorial of this interesting game here. I will take what I have learned and use it on the battlefield.
what are CRPGs?
Things i wish i knew before playing Pathfinder: Kingmaker : This game sucks and it does everything to ruin your experience
Kingmaker bad game too much bugs and low functions.
HOLY FUCK THE GROUND TARGETING SHOULD HAVE A TOOLTIP
I have no desire to play above normal difficulty. It's literally setting the game to cheat for the DM.

Upward inflections drive me CRAZY. Are you asking, or telling?
It's the time limit really that bad? Or is it patched?

THANK YOU!!!! Hoooooly crap that is really annoying when you can't align things properly.
You talk to much about simple things or things that does not matter.
the game is really carefully prepared and very balanced. I wish there were turn based combat mechanics. There are so many spells and skills that it is very difficult for you to use all of them in battles. You have to stop the game frequently. Instead, I would have been more satisfied if the game was turn based.
The difficulty setting is a scam. The reason why is because PKM is a direct translation of the PnP rules. The Pnp ruleset cannot be modified and still retain viability, everything is balanced very carefully. If for example you change the critical damg to x2, suddenly enemies with x3 crit two handed weapons become one-shot death machines and since the system is based on d20 random rolls, one unlucky roll and it is reload time. On the other side, if the AC and Saving Throws of the enemies get buffed, suddenly most class builds become obsolete, since the BaB and Spell DC is balanced for normal stats; you then have to create munchkin stupid builds just to be able to hit.
On the other hand, if you reduce the difficulty, then builds that should not work suddenly become viable, destroying all meaning of planning and developing your characters.
Do yourself a favour and NEVER deviate from the PnP rules. This is not a game for munchkin min-maxing, and the moronic Monk1/Rogue1/Paladin2/Sorc5/DragonDisciple8/Duelist3 OR Str wizard tanking bosses type of builds will destroy the experience for you.
Give each guy druid as second class and mammoth pet, you will get LARGE inventory space and 6 meatbags to tank for you
One thing i dont agree in any way
Dont ever EVER play any game at easy
You just ruin the experience by making it effortless and you dont even need to think about anything you do
Which is a shame that people ruin their first run by going easy
Kingdom management can be set to auto??? I know what I am doing thank you
From a RP perspective, I don't see Valerie as being a "thug". That's pure min-maxing.
1) After Pathfinder: Kingmaker AND Divinity: Original Sin 2 I will NEVER AGAIN play a CRPG without watching first a "Things I wish I knew before playing…" video on Youtube! Screwed those two games just by not knowing some basic stuff.
2) Your channel has the best name and the best logo of any RPG channel. Congrats!
it's so shitty this game
especially with health system
you die and return with low health you level up you stay with your low health you spend all your time resting and wasting time
And here I am playing on Normal with heavier enemy damage, getting my ass kicked… Thanks for this video, I find none of the important shit is ever covered in walkthough or tutorial sections.
Things I wish I knew about…. Turn based Mod.
