The voyager difficulty is the best for beginners, cause I downloaded this game today and I'm on day 6 already… If you find good loot, because I found a gun in the first 1 hour or so
This is UBER helpful. I've been looking at the game for a long time, and finally bought it on the winter steam sale. I got into the game, and realized they just drop you on your head without a tutorial on how to do anything. Which in retrospect, makes way more sense, LMAO. Even on easy I was having a hard time, so thank you for the tutorial!
awesome vid, allot seems like common sense but i had no idea how realistic the game was, im worried tho cuss i got the xbone version and if its missing in these factors ill prob not even bother, do you know the differences?
I'm here, because the last time I tried to collect weeds for wood and lightweight tinders for fire nearby the icy lake on the Timberwolf Mountain region at night with a Lantern in my hand, but suddenly a bear growl could be heard nearby out of nowhere and it was so dark that I couldn't see a meter away and had no idea where is the bear coming from. I tried to turn off the lantern and guess the way out of the danger, but the bear got me. After that I stood up once again with 9% health, used Antiseptic Bottle, Bandage and Painkiller and then tried to crawl away from that location in the dark and recovered myself up a bit to 15% condition. I found a wolf eating a rabbit carcass. As I had a Hunting Knife and a Flare, I was brave enough to try to beat the wolf to make him leave the carcass cause I was out of food when the sun started rising. I lit the flare and was getting close to the wolf to chase him away, but then jumped on me. I wasn't even started the fight with wolf, but the game was already over as my character suffered blood loss and shock from the wolf attack.
Any idea, how to get meat once I am out of food and have neither a Rifle, neither a Bow, neither a Fishing Tool and neither a Snare?
