The introduction of Pillars of Eternity does a great job of showing the player how impactful their choices can be, says Eurogamer’s Chris Bratt. Expect some spoilers from the game’s opening area ‘The Ruins of Cilant Lîs’.

This gotta be a troll video.
This game is cheap as hell on GOG.com right now, so is the sequel. I'm good for a few months now.
Do you have a bootleg copy of this game I can buy from you?
Where did you get a bear companion?
Lots of skill checks, dialogue trees with multiple solutions, all for zero pay-off. Why can't games abandon the whole idea of the inconsequential prologue?
Calisca was just the character I was looking for. I had to make a similar character to replace her, but it's not the same 🙁
Hehe, did you know you can also kill every one in caravan camp and story addapts to your decision.
I think I'll buy this now 🙂
I didn't even realize you could get Heodan through that hostage situation unscathed. His death outside the ruins hurt so much because I'd been working so hard to keep him alive. I even lost Calisca in the process. I really hate Telltale-style 'everyone dies no matter what you do' situations, but on the other hand it made for a very powerful beginning.
Yes, the death of Calisca really hurt.
Thanks a lot for this my nigga
Great vid, Bratterz!
Been enjoying the first Act so far. It would undeniably be my GotY 2015 if it weren't for The Witcher 3.
