I see that you are not only ratating to solve a case, but using it to efficiently gather information. I haven't considered that.
I'm using rotationless f2l, but I'm going to try to incorporate some rotations. I think as long as half rotating two purposes like this it will be better than not rotating.
Something else I haven't been considering is looking ahead enough to make sure a corner ends up in the top layer.

are the g perms worth learning? ik when i do four look there are rotations but there are four of the and the move count is only about 3 moves less than doing 2 look pll for them. ive only just started using cfop and average 33 seconds. whats your opinion on this?
