Can anyone correct me please when lining up your shoulder with the 3rd line do I full lock the steering wheel? A response would be appreciated as I struggled in my previous leosn and want to prepare for my Wednesday lesson
I have my lesson Monday again am going to try this hope it works
my instructor hasn’t taught me reverse bay parking? is it not included in the roving test?
That is way easier than i thought
Get Driving can u please do forward and reverse parking between the cars??
I’ve got a lesson at 5pm tonight so it’s gonna be very dark, hopefully I can still do it well 😂
Looking busy doing nothing.
Been struggling a lot on how to bay park and reverse bay , your videos really helped ! Really recommend it. Watch it a few times.
Thanks alot
This is so helpful. Thank you for making this video
Does this work no matter what size vehicle?
Hi Francis.
A question if I may.
You say for reverse bay parking, line up shoulder in line with the bay you are using to start the manouvre?
So what happens in the case of a really tall person that had the seat right back or a really short person who has the seat right forward? I would of thought that would cause the manouvre to end up diffently?
Thanks
Graham
Hi I liked your video. But I have a little doubt: If there is a parked car on the left side, is supposed to be a bit more reversed the car before entering the park box space. From the air view camera I can see the left rear tyre touching the intersection lines, is like the rear bumper bar will touch any parked car on the left side!
wish 'id seen this before I done my lessons!!!! 25hrs and passed, just about haha, good luck to everyone who is learning!!!
very nice video. appreciate the way of teaching.
Ok so I need to know because it's bringing me major stress, it is NOT the end of the world crossing the white line getting into your space a little, as was done in the video? I practice in a rather tight spot and the only way I get in is by going just sliiightly on the line as the learner did in the video. Sadly I have a career set up that's waiting for my P's so the stress on succeeding first try is getting to me a little haha
Great video mate. Thanks for the help. Top man…
Excellent explanation
What if we have to park in the last bay ??
Hi great videos i have a question if your shorter you might move your seat closer towards the steering wheel and clutch – would your reference point still be your shoulder or past your shoulder.
YOU VERY GOOD AND I HAD LEARNT ALOT FROM YOU THAN FROM MY INSTRUCTOR.
How would I do this when driving a truck? When perpendicular to the parking spaces would I need to be somewhat further a way? Also someone commented that your shoulder should be a little behind the line before reversing because you could hit a parked car that is parked right before your spot. I just need to know if any reverence points change for a truck verses a compact car
This is such a simple demonstration of reverse bay parking. Thank you Francis, I will definitely practice using this technique.
If there was a car parked before the bay you chose you would have wiped the front off their car! The third bay line should be just in front of your shoulder! Next time watch your video before you post it!
the problem with this method is that, if you turn the wheel quicker or slower this will also effect where you end up. as well as if you revers a bit faster or slower.
Oh my God!!! I watched this video yesterday and tried it today. It works!!! My driving instructor was surprised when I nailed my parking.. thank you so much
loved this! Thank you
Does the car size matter with this technique?
Does this work with any car or is this technique sourcing to you
Thank you so much for these videos! I kept on messing up the manoeuvres but your explanations were so simple.
I've tried doing it with my shoulder but it does not work
Thanku we will not spending to much money because of your videos best instructor
Can you park on either side of the car park
If theres a car in the bays either side though surely hes hit the front end?
Marcus is good and smart learner keep going 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Finally, the best reverse parking explanation I've had. I'll give this ago in my next lesson
The reversing view makes it look like you cut across the bay before the one you want parking half in each bay
Thanks for the help!
Does this method work for any size of car?
What about if your are parking in the second bay instead of the third one?
Illuminati confirmed 2:17
i m preparing for my g2 bay parking left right parking is very tough
Ok…. someone please help. What is a bonnet and what is a horizon? Is a bonnet thr front bumper of a car or something else? Also, what’s the word for horizon in American english? That’s where I got lost. Thanks!
Just to clarify , the third line from the bay should line up with ur shoulder?
I really like your video's Very helpful and understanding
