Alright welcome to the Respawn Putting Method. Created to help everyone not only make some more 1 putts but also help keep your green work under 2 putts per green. I put a ton of time into this so hopefully it will help you shave some strokes off your score out on the course.

Great… I’m partially colorblind so almost all the green grid colors look the same 😢😢
Why do you think swing speed slow and very slow occur. I’d wager a lot that says I did not swing slow or very slow, but rather, there is some sort of lag to the server issue causing it.

lol it’s hilarious too me that I hit so many greens in regulation but still fight to be 5 under..: then I join a community and play tournaments and see guys who hit 30 under in a 2 round match lol
Am I missing something…… the haptic feedback doesn’t work anymore in the backswing??? Did 2K take it away
So are you just pushing the thumbstick all the way over for every slope you counted or is there a way to use the D-pad?
How does the the up and downhill multiplier change with the speed of the greens?
DO you turn the vibration off for your regular swings?

What setting needs to be turned on to show the elevation on putts and regular shots? I am playing on Xbox One and I'm thinking something got turned off when I was trying to eliminate the blue arch at address. Thank you.
I've been watchin your qualifying vids and my stupid brain didn't click that the power meter was off for the society. I just figured you'd turned it off by choice so it was a bit of a shock to system when I started the Q event. Had to quit and give myslef a crash course in putting without it on lol. Hadn't really tried to putt without it yet. I was -4 and doin alright in the first round until I had a putting melt down on the 17th and crushed a like 7 footer past the hole a few times and went for a quad bogey. It was breakin a lot and the read wasn't great either, but yeah, need a bit more practise without it lol. Finished even par which isn't too bad I suppose first time without the putting meter but I'm like +2 after the first 9 of the 2nd round so need to pull my finger out, get em finished and get a few birdies lol
Well explained. It definitely works. It's pretty much what I've been doing and did in 2019 and I was a gun putter on that. Still workin it out a bit on this version. Been using this method for years. I remember working it out on the old TW's games. I'm old lol.
Pluggin the headset into the controller makes it a lot less glitchy for me but it still happens every now and then. Bout time they patched it. It's bloody controller smashing frustrating.
If you have to make exceptions based on <10 and >50 feet, why not just scoot out to 30 feet so your button presses are always adjusting the same amount of degrees? Then adjust for your speed last?
Great video, thanks! One question – how do you account for a situation on say a long putt that breaks a good bit, so the left to right change then sends the putt over a hill that wasn’t a part of the height change in the original calculation?
This is probably overthinking, but just curious if you had a method for that, or if that puts you into the “take your best guess” territory.
Very good. You can perfect using the preview putt. After the calculation, of course. It can correct some imperfection. Congratulations!
I like this method, but I play with mouse and keyboard which is a little different. Have you tried just assigning say 20 taps to the left or right per grid instead of counting the taps?
Great video. This helps a lot…just one small problem for me. I'm colorblind…oranges and yellows will be tough lol. I will just have to get used to looking at speed and judging the best I can for each yard block. The faster blocks will be much tougher. Thanks!
yellowish green vs. greenish yellow? Christ it reminds me of when my wife asked me which shade of white I liked better.

i pray this helps me…i need a little boost before this qualifier…and ive got so many hours in this game and not much improvement…im still at +10…sometimes more, sometimes less…

I used the counting method in 2019 with success.
100 hours on this game and I feel like I'm barely improving.
I get on the greens and mindlessly putt for some reason.
I think absence of the d pad is to blame and I feel lost and haven't myself tried any math on the greens.

I started using the pinch grip w/ putting. It made it extremely easier w/ swing plane. Brought it over to my regular swing and made this game so much easier!! Definitely helped to keep a consistent swing tempo. I’m playing on Pro difficulty. Probably averaging 4-5 under par.
