what way do you attach your beading,,cheers
What's the plaster you are using? Here in the States, I don't recall seeing anything like that. Great vids
Hey mate . Ya seam like a canny spread , ya explain things easy for a novice . But ya can get ceiling , slope and wall all in 1 , just get yaself an adjustable corner trowel .
👍👍
looks spot on, i did some plastering 2 weeks ago not done any for over 20 years it turned out ok but looking at your vid i realised i tried to work to fast with it also mixed it a bit to wet, i'm going back to finish the job in a couple of. weeks feeling much moor confident now, Thank you
Sorry if you’ve said already but what size Speedskim would you recommend for ceilings and walls, 900 or 1200? Not used one before but want to give one a go!
Is it better to have a trowel with a bit of flex in it. The one I have seems really rigid and seems to leave lines all over the show.
Just to let you know to be able to do a loft conversion regards to plastering you need to be a professional not a one week course whether you watched a YouTube video or tried it yourself you just will not do it it’s a simple as that
Good job there dude 😎 might need to change my career
Great video, 👍🏽 always uploading good content.
Have a quick question, do you ever use your corner trowel on your first coat? If you don’t, did you when you first started to be as accurate as possible for a better finish
Hacking the wood away when cleaning your door frames is not good, always better to use a small scraper, much better control. Always having to tell my apprentice about that.
Door frames can be such a pain in the ass on site,😂
How long do you leave the first coat on before you flatten it with the Speedskim?
I find using the corner trowel on the 3rd/4th trowel up it keeps you from repeating it every time you trowel up keeps your corners nice and neat
Can't believe this video slipped my radar, but wow, probably your finest work on YouTube, Blaine. This is your Cappella Sistina!
another great informative video. Great work
Thanks for your videos,, they are really helpful… I was wondering, should we tape over the screws..
awesome
Is the plastic trowel better than the refina superflex for finishing?
Why can't u use a brush to brush corner
For those change of angles on sloped ceilings, I like to throw a laser level and fit a stop bead. That way you know it's 100% straight and level. Then simply plaster upto the stop bead which acts like a guide.
Nice
That nail and string-line technique for working on your own is brilliant, big thank you for showing that
