In this video, I’m going to show you how to plaster an Aretx ceiling using British Gypsum Bonding.

There are many ways to deal with Artex ceilings but the safest and possibly quickest way is to plaster over the Artex using a backing plaster. This way you’re not disturbing the Artex and potentially avoiding any disruption which could release the dreaded Asbestos.

Its a simple process but still worth watching because I cover how to
– Apply the British Gypsum Bonding
– Mixing plaster with some tips on making it set faster
– Prepare your ceiling ready for plastering
– The tools and materials I recommend for the job
– Tips and tricks for working with Bonding.

These are some of the topics we cover in this video with other tips on tricks on plastering ceilings and walls.

This tutorial also covers using a product called Halftime 4 Bonding. This is an accelerator that speeds up the setting time of Bonding. I’m going to test to see whether this little bad boy works or not.

That’s what we cover in today’s video! If you like this training please like and subscribe to our channel and please feel free to leave any comments. I’d love to hear from you! For more information on plastering please visit our website below:
