perseving a hazard clip 14
Are these all the possible clips that could be shown in the real test or will there be any real life ones too? I have an app and I’ve been practicing all these videos for weeks but I just want to make sure
Im from the US I just listen to some british podcast where they talked about the theory test. I gotta say, this doesnt look too bad, but I think as someone who is literally just learning to drive this looks like fuckin hell lol
The problem is those clips have nothing to do with real clips. Also how did they count the timing of reaction, I usually pressed a split second before and were getting 0 points because I’ve seen the danger too early.

Hello. On Clip 14. Truck joining the motorway. It is set that you have to perceive vehicles on the junction slip road are joining the motorway and they will be going into the left hand lane. So the reaction timer is looking at you to see if have spotted the joining traffic. After spotting the traffic you can then either slow down to give them room to join or change lane into the centre lane if it is safe to do so. The clip makes perfect sense if you have ever been cut off from joining traffic or had to slam on your brakes joining the motorway because the person already on the motorway is oblivious to your presence.

Yes you were penalised for lorry joining a motorway and you are right it wasn't a hazard until he pulled out.

I passed my hazard perception about 3 weeks ago totally agree Deady bloody thing was hard with this cgi crap no resemblance to real life.
Today I’m just passed my theory test thanks you for your VDO hazard

The cgi clips are way easier than the real life clips (did real clips 10 years ago for my car theory). There is an uncanny valley vibe to the cgi clips (they look real and unreal at the same time) and it's really easy to spot hazards before they happen in cgi because the hazard often look somewhat unrealistic. I think I got almost 100%.
