In this video tutorial you will learn how to resolve the “Intel RST Service is Not Working” error. If you’re using a computer that is running on Windows-based operating system, you will most probably be using the Intel Rapid Storage Technology.

This Windows-based RST application provides improved performance & reliability for computers with SATA (Serial ATA) hard drives. It has many benefits and it’s important to ensure that the Intel RST service is running properly. In some cases, you may encounter the RST error as a warning while performing a specific task. In other instances, you may notice the error in your computer system tray (like I did).

In most cases, the solution is to reinstall the Intel RST driver which can be downloaded from the manufacturer website or from the Intel website. Since I’m using a Toshiba Satellite laptop, I managed to get my RST driver from the Toshiba website. If you’re using a Dell, HP, or any other computer brand, go to that specific manufacturer website and get the right driver.

Just ensure that you know which operating system you are using. For example, in my case, I am using the Windows 64-bit operating system. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments section.
