I have 3 tactics that's very super. I win 90 percent of my matches in all competition
dont know where can i ask you, how do you choose what players not good enough for your team? especially players from the first squad.
example from my previous save, i played in Eredivisie and 3 season in a row i failed to win the title, Ajax just a more superior team, they have more money, better players etc. Every season they only lost 2-3 games, not more. We lost 4-6, and finished in last 3 seasons: 2,3,2. In attribute comparasion we of course worse than Ajax, in every position, except maybe defensive midfielders. I loved this team, but cant win the league with them. It looks like Arsene Wenger in Arsenal, growing youngsters, keeping homegrown players or players what i think not good enough for my team, but i keep them because they have a good ratings overall the season.
When you build your team in long term or not, how you choose what player to drop? Does attributes > everything else? Your scouts find a player what better than your player from the first squad – ok, i say you good bye Billy, because Asamoah better than you in composure, dribbling and aggression?
I mostly managed underdog teams, now again in Eredivisie with Go Ahead Eagles, and only big reason when i sell my first squad player – he start degradate or he does not deserve salary what he got. I dont like "star rating system", because it not always show real impact, what player provide to the squad. For example my striker with '3 stars' scored 11 in 15 games. Or this is my DM, what have 4 stars but mostly played like sh*t because bad determination and natural fitness https://i.imgur.com/P7ZgF4I.png
thank you, and sorry for the wall of text.
"Football is a simple game complicated by idiots."
I built my own, had a goal difference of 76 in the BPL
I'm having trouble with this new system the ai is playing 5(wing back)-2 (mc)-3 (inside forwards, centre forward). It shouldn't work but seems quite broken. Any suggestions for dealing with that- could make a good video.
Rashidi can you do some kind of overview of popular tactics used by AI and what kind of changes and weakneses you see in them? Just like how do you identify which changes to make.
to clarify, what kind of things do you look at in AI's team to target
I love a three-man midfield. This year I am starting new teams with three CM's on auto & using them as a base for any changes I need to make. I favour midfielders that are 'alrounders' so I can be very very adaptable. Mostly I stay with them as CM's but the changes in game can truly be dramatic!
Really informative, thanks for this!
How do you get that comparison part on the tactics screen?
LOL that Diabloscramjet or whatever description of everyone going to the right is so very much funny for Spanish viewers who know Floro Recatado and his Tenaza Yuxtapuesta XD. He was a parody of Benito Floro created by Alfonso Ussía when he was Real Madrid coach and Ussía worked in a high quality radio comedy show. "We will win, I have the perfect tactic planned: everybody will be on the right of the side and that will confuse the opposition so we just have to walk the ball into the net" or some other different crazy descriptions of the tactic.
Writing and editing as I listen to the chapter.
Crosses can be defended against – Totally true, in the crappy Hungarian second division team I'm managing crosses aren't the main source of conceded goals, I get them well defended.
That thing about three strikers being OP and impossible to defend against are also BS, I hear that since FM16 and I've never had any special problem against those systems. In fact, I think I feel safer when the AI team changes to that.
Great video. Really enjoyed your insights. Thanks for posting.
Is tactic good enough if you finnish 2nd in the PL 1st season with Huddersfield+ batchuay?
5-2-3 is the closest to the overpowered tactic i've found, its still pretty weak away though. I finished the season on a +100 goal difference but still cant beat Man Utd at old trafford 🙁
Every tactic comes with the players you got, the staff, an organisation and a plan in advance with what you want to see.
