My main tips is to watch several "tips" recordings. Are a couple of quests you can take early on to get a free (and good) chopper with a helper. Also same for a plain. (Yeah, over 1 year ago)

My tip is to get familiar with and frequently use the bow and arrow. It's a very versatile weapon, and the reasons I find it so great is that it's completely silent, has the accuracy of a sniper rifle if the target isn't moving, you can pick up your arrows again, so basically unlimited ammo if you got good aim, and most importantly, you can use fire and explosive arrows. I find those special arrows very useful in for example taking down helicopters and generally blowing stuff up, like satellite dishes and other things that i won't bother to climb up to. Can also cause a fiery mess with the incendiary arrows. So all this in one weapon, so no need to waste a slot for the rocket or grenade launcher etc.
