Haha the homeowner is actually watching 27:00. He spent the first 5 minutes bashing who ever previously painted…
I truly appreciate you taking the time to makethe video. Quite often, there isn’t enough info in the content to get you going. I really look forward to viewing more on it very soon. Again, thank you for sharing it.
Did you know you're a genius?

This is an excellent video. I stumbled across it looking for videos on commercial window installation! I'm glad I did. I've always been apprehensive to take on painting jobs. Now I won't! =D
It's nice to be able to paint without tape, but i find that razor edge on my crown (especially with darker paints) is just so, SO much better with some 3M 2093 Edge-Lock. Just can't beat it, and it's well worth spending the extra $10 or less per room to me.
So glad I watched this video! Am painting my bathroom today and can’t wait to get started. Thanks so much!
Love the video, but being a second generation commercial and residential painter that’s been in business for 57 years, I have to disagree with your opinion on masking tape.
Our last house, they painted over the receptacles. Rolled straight over them.
i'm so happy that i found this channel! so many good tips
It's like watching a Bob Ross masterpiece but our painting master is Jeff. Great video. I am having to do some painting soon and this is an incredible series of videos.
I didn't even know tape-less painting was even a thing. I'll be trying this technique out in the weeks to come. Thank-you!
You might want to tell the beginners to use a 2 1/2" sash brush until they get use to painting. I use a 3" myself, but think it is too much for beginners.
Love the idea you shared of removing the roller sleeve. Can't wait to try it.
Any tips for painting very dark wood wall paneling white? We have A LOT of trim work on the walls

what brand is the brush you are using?
Thanks for sharing this!!
It was actually entertaining watching you paint. Lol
Question. When you first sand the wall, all that dust settles on it. Don't you have to wipe the wall or it doesn't matter?
And also, you mentioned in the beginning you would sand in between the coats, but didn't show before painting 2nd coat..
Learned a few things. Thanks!
Its amazing how loving what you do can make something like watching paint dry incredibly interesting. Its his love of his work that holds your interest, and makes his instruction so very helpful.
What type of brush is it ?
Why's is the ceiling smooth like that's a few inches from the wall.. did I miss that part?

"you don't wanna be draggin dirt through your mud" I don't know why but I just found that funny. lol
Hello from Ottawa 🙂 I am considering painting my new place – my first DIY ever…this fun video game me a little more confidence to go for it. Though I'm confused about the sanding part
tape and then roll to the baseboard…
So glad I came across your video. I actually just dismissed my painter because he was painting all over my trim and then not doing an adequate job of touching it up, was getting paint all over my floors and not cleaning as he went and in addition to several other grievances, the way he worked was giving me anxiety. I’m nowhere near professional at painting, but I sure wasn’t going to keep paying a “professional” giving worse results than I can achieve myself. I’m actually getting better at your cutting technique, too.
How come you dont use an airless paint sprayer?
Thanks for this video! Very helpful. I’ve been putting off painting for years because I don’t think I can be good at it but I’m going to try. We’ve been in our house for 12 years and it definitely needs painting! I’m curious – you said acrylic paint? Is that the same as latex? Can you share what brand of paint you prefer to use? And what is your preferred finish for a living room and/or an office room? Thank you !
what length extension pole is it ? Is it 2-4 ft ? I need to buy one and my room walls are similar height as in the video .
I thought i knew how to paint too…. until i saw this video.
Excellent video & I LOVE to paint… what are your thoughts on painting ceramic tile backsplash if you're on a tight budget??
Me before watching this video: "I know how to paint!!"
Also me before watching this video: wastes 1l of paint on a single wall
34:30
I tried that and the roller flew over hit the wall and landed on carpet
And remember, do not paint when you are drunk
