I cant find a single guide on how to progress from early to midgame. The grind for cells is killing it for me. im 30 hours in and still cant beat the watcher in order to get the spider rune and progress. 99% of the RNG decides I live or die through items spawns. Every video is either on the first hour or someone whos got hundreds and is at the end game.

A Very Excellent Setup Is the Whip With A Foot. You can use the foot upclose and enemies will not be able to hit you for a while. ifyou have the high ground you can use the whip to slowly drain the enemy's health. You whip is used as a ranged weapon as well as a melee.

Just a heads up @Madismas, I’ve had cells drop from chests, and bats… so many bats. >.<
Also the golden doors that require money to open are breakable with your weapon, but breaking it will give you the 10 kill 1 hit curse
Video guides should be far more detailed than just a list of bullet points, or you've wasted the entire advantage a video has over text. Claiming that this is "ultimate" is a gross misrepresentation of the word. Your voice and tone are quite good, you just need a lot more information before you can claim that this a comprehensive guide to everything a beginner should know about Dead Cells. As it is, this is just a "quick tips guide" that lasts three and a half minutes too long.

you are skipping very important info about Runes (or you don't know about it) and the fact that there isn't always a chest on every level. that is false

Nice Starter Guide got some little comments to add here:
0:30 Not only Carrots and Gold, in very rare occasions you can also find power up scrolls in them.
1:10 only worth it to get the blueprints, otherwise you miss to much Scrolls^^
2:38 Depends on the Amulet, only the Sapphire one gives a Defensive boost, others have completely different effects
Regarding the throwing knives, I barley ever take them with me. In my Eyes it is a play style question which weapons feel more powerful to which player so I disagree on that on.

And you forgot to mention about jump attack ) And, maybe, the fact that you don't fall while attack mid air.
the wall runes can also drop stat upgrade scrolls. also the blue prints for the quick bow and assassin dagger are in static secret locations above the starting area of your run and above the starting area of the promenade of the condemned and lastly the electric whip and throwing knives both track flying enemys but the electric whip also track wall runes makeing them earlier to find
