Not sure if I'd recommend a balanced build ever really. Since stats scale exponentially, each level is stronger than the last, making things like 8 and 9 skills or strength really powerful. Strength builds can totally work, as long as you have the right skills to support it. Such as a Broadsword with frost blast or ice grenade. For strength build you use utility skills that either trigger synergies for your weapons, or control enemies. Preferably both in one of my favorite cases, where you get either a broadsword or heavy crossbow with +175% damage to frozen enemies and frost blast or ice grenade. Pure skills build can be pretty great as you've mentioned.
Good tips.
The way u speak…..made me sooooo sleepy…
Get some energy dude.
This is barely beginner / casual guide
I just started playing this game and am having a lot of fun trying to learn everything. 1 thing bugs me though, majority of videos I see of people playing this game, they keep the option to know when enemies are going to attack on. I’m not by any means good or pro but I feel like I should learn the tells from enemies to know when they are going to attack. It feels like cheating for me idk just my opinion. To those that disagree, I’m not anyone important or special just another gamer so don’t take it personal if you do play with that option on.
The level progression listed is wrong. Also, to each their own but I find it MUCH more efficient to focus strategically on one scroll buff for the most part. If I focus on my efforts into strategy and I end up with a legendary melee weapon then my melee will be insanely strong without dumping points into red AND my (for example) ice bow and cross-bo-magic will be devastatingly powerful. I’m usually 15 purple, 2 red, and maybe 3 green by the end (still need to gain some HP). I’m open to suggestions and critique too!
Good job on the vid, I liked the series. Ya should do Enter the gungeon or somethingzz.
I wouldn't recommend a balanced build because when you find the high-level rare items the stats go off of your best stat… So if your balanced you could end up with a piece of crap
How come you have 6 item slots. Playstation only has 5.
Nice tips. I've been avoidig shields but I'm gonna give em a shot now.

How do you use the tickle plant
>playing with a controller
pleb

what about timed doors? I cant get on Graveyard because of a timed door at the end of Fjord 🙁
How to gain wall climbing skill? And how to use it? It gains when I kill boss in Chapel or not
the second assult shield tech where you press then at the same time is easy, when you hold shield there's a sizable window where you can let go and party, just hold shield the roll while holding shield during that window and you can shield roll perfectly
im a noob how can i unlock wall run and this teleport at Mumie ?
How can you make a full strength set work? by not being terrible and dying on a zombie on the 1st level. yes i know you got cursed cause of the golden door but that was just terrible. Btw im saying this cause of the 30 runs ive gotten to the graveyard 3 were skill based while the other 27 were strength based. Sure the skill based ones were fun and all but i find strength builds to be way more fast pased exciting. i mean i had a run today with lvl 10 strength in the graveyard (which is really easy to pull off btw) and my lvl 2 throwing knives one shot anything other than the catchers and foggers
Is this actually an advanced guide? This all just seems like stuff you could figure out if you played the game for a while.
NEVER pick up a blue scroll before completing the level! 3:23
congratulations, you played yourself.
as far as pure strength goes, use weapons that are either rapid or long-range but still do decent damage, the less you're involved in fighting your enemy, the easier it is for you to survive, early on bear traps are amazing CC, but later on with plentiful enemies, flashbangs and ice grenades are much better, especially ice grenades because they allow you to take your time while picking enemies down.
if a certain attack has a long-starting windup, you can lower how long you expose yourself by rolling first then pressing the attack, note that attacking midst roll stops the roll immediately and goes on it's own short cooldown.
Specific to a combination of Dual Daggers and Throwing knives, you can actually weave the two together alternating quickly between the two, stacking bleed from the knives and advancing in the combo of the dual daggers to it's critical third strike.
Sometimes it's not bad to have two rapid melee weapons if nothing else like the starting rusty sword with a quick blade.
Ammunition stays used so long as the enemy hit with it is still alive, this makes fighting bosses and elite with ammunition-based weapons impossible.
Thx 🙂
love your vids + 1 sub but i have a question you have alot of tutorials but wich tutorial would help me get trough the first part of the game (like the first elite) not the random one.
Hey Madismas! just discovered your content, and it's amazing. Your videos are exactly what I like and what I look for 🙂
Keep up with the good stuff, you just got a new french sub
Otherwise, I agree with Ashnal point. The stats upgrade exponentially. Thus I find it more rewarding to invest all your points in one category. cheers
Volume levels, up them. I can barely hear what you're saying.
One minor correction to make, the diagram you used to show the paths is a bit misleading. It shows that you are locked into a path once you choose from the prisoner's cell, but in reality you can go to any of the secondary stages from Promenade, and you can go to Ramparts from either Ossuary or Old Sewers.
This may not seem like a big deal, and it probably isn't, but ossuary/ramparts/black bridge is my preferred path to speed run the ivy grenade blueprint, so just thought Id mention it.
"and for the newer subs.. I'd really appreciate if you subscribed" KEK
btw you give us as an advice not to pick up choice scrolls but… that's what you do at 3:20
as sloppy as usual, lovin'it 8)
Dude really quick question how do you record your dead cells gameplay
I look forward to more videos.Keep it up!
