The WHO constantly praise China and their handling of this?!? China created this virus by ignoring advice from the WHO on wet markets, they delayed notifying the world about its outbreak, they lied about its significance and the numbers of those effected, they set the police onto the Dr who raised the alarm! By dictionary definition this is a pandemic and yet the WHO are too political and weak to label this pandemic, a pandemic. The WHO is a pointless waste of money!

I am loughing/crying for the stupid politicians of the world.They try to show less the death and infected people–>so the people will be not worry too much—->Infected/death more. Actuelly the politicians kill/destroy themselfes, because at the end they are the great losers and not the people. At the end they will just roll sick people. You can't be asymptomatic if you have few symptoms, only if you have zero symptoms. A few symptoms means you have a mild infection. Not the same as asymptomatic.

This sounds like a CCP propaganda trash!
That figure seems to have this massive ambiguity that really should have been firmly clarified to avoid the trolls having a field day. As far as I can tell it is a very well defined one based on the ratio of known infections and deaths and does not pretend to estimate unknown infections. HOWEVER:
* Best guess the fatality still looks to be around 1% (with large error bars). That would be 10x worse than flu.
* The infection rate still looks even more rapid than the flu, 2.2 infections per case compared to 1.4
* Current fatality figure may not be as important as the number that would have died without full hospital care. Hospitals may become swamped. They only have so many advanced life support machines.
Well, if we were to assume that just 2 billion of the world's population get infected and with a case fatality rate of 3%, this will still result in 60 million deaths, which is about the same death toll as the Spanish Influenza pandemic of 1918….
Hmmm, so the title is suggesting that WHO’s number is disputed because of asymptotic infections?
