Thank you so much ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️👍
This changed my life, and I'm not exaggerating at all. This applies to so many things.
His voice is so soothing
There are times that I feel like rushing the process because I see how good other people are, but I've realized that to be able to draw like them, I need to start. I need to start from step 1. So far I am loving this series because it acknowledges the frustration and the reality of someone who's trying to get started with figure drawing or drawing in general.
Again this comes from your basic purple belt BJJ grunt, but your style to teach, is in my own opinion how one can learn and pass that learning forward.
For me the part, where the information given is, a really small part of the learning process, makes sense.
In bjj, when we go through the technique, there's the mechanics learning part, drilling part and the sparring part. Yhree parts which all bring more freedom for the student.
However, in each part of the learning process, when student gets lost, the teacher can give tips to get back on track.
Requiring of course, the teacher understands what adjustments one needs to make to do so.
This is why i practice both drawing and bjj, since the learning process is constant and they offer genuine pursue and sense of failing and needing to overcome obsticles in order to get the feeling of accomplishment.
Your guys' courses are fantastic and it's amazing that you're offering them for free. Thank you.
Worth subscribing
The Beginners Life Drawing is really great and has been so helpful in my challenge to draw figures. I found going at my pace and repeating sections pushed my skills on. The encouragement from Kenzo has stopped me from giving up, when at times I felt it wasn't getting eye hand and brain together. Big thank you
what's called that drawing tool appeared in this video?
What would be some good tools for a new artist to have when starting to get into life drawing ✍️ (i haven’t drawn in like 6 years and i miss it greatly hopefully i haven’t forgotten too much). Thanks for the videos I’m super excited to get back to it.

3:11 Don't take it personally but whenever someone in your level says they're struggling, I hate myself more 😂
I know people of all stages of learning struggle, but if I were in your level, I'd never use the word "struggle", I'd run wild easier.

(1). I do it. (2). I do it, you help me. (3). You do it, I help you. (4). You do it.
Love! Thank you!
This channel has helped me so much and I can't be thankful enough. There is no other place where i found someone actually reflect my hurdles in drawing the way I'd be able to overcome it.
I may or may not have cried watching this. It's just such a kind and encouraging message, and I've always been so anxious about learning. ♡
You are absolutely right- a lot of utube show the figure drawing without teaching how, they just draw and the proportion look right and everything magically look perfect but the big question is HOW???? I am going to follow your video and diligently doing the prescribed drawing exercise !
thank you for your tips! it was really helpful!
I like your educated and proggressive way of thinking.

IM IN TEACH ME
Excellent tutorials, much appreciated, thank you.
Exactly because of the reasons you listed it took me at least 5 years to realize this was one of my biggest problems. If i had found a decent teacher this would have been solved instantly.
So… is this where you start on your channel? Is this the very first thing we should learn?
Thank you for these videos, I"ve just found you! And like you said, there is SO much information out there, nothing like time inside the work, that's why they call it an art practice, it's not like tomorrow I'll be expert. Takes time, and miles into it to master it. Never a dull moment.
Looks like a very good course from start. Thank you for the good explainations
I think I’m actually going to do this. I’m gonna follow all the way through these lessons and see what happens, thanks for taking the time to create them for free man.
Kenzo and Mayko, Thank you for putting together such a wonderful teaching resource for figure artists. I really appreciate that you start at the ground level, and deal with some of the behavioral hangups that new artists encounter. It's very well done and I plan to direct my students to your videos as a supplement to our figure drawing classes. Very well done. Thanks again.
