reseting abilities costs money
I guess nearly everyone who's played this finds this out pretty quickly but it's a biggie. When you get to a new area, find the sycronisation points and use them.

Also dodging is better perrying doesn’t give you a slowmo but dodging perfectly does.

Something people forget to mention, is that resetting your skills costs coin. A lot of youtubers say "it doesn't cost anything", not entirely true though.
Also, if you hold “A” when you jump off a ledge, you roll and take less damage
No. 11 when going to Megaris for the questline ‘The Wolf Of Sparta’ (I think that is what it’s called) get the ability that lets you break small shields because quite a few enemies have small shields.

Great video!! I just bought this game yesterday for only $30 so i'm eager to jump in & start. Any other good pointers from commenters just reply to me.
he said it doesn't cost money to reset your skills but he looses 338 drachma from resetting
Also, go to add-ons, go to Time savers, then purchase the map that shows you the ancient tablet spots on the world map, I'm not big on spending real cash in game but I am beyond happy that I bought that map it doesn't make the game super easy or anything but it will save you a buttload of time as you have to have the ancient tablets to upgrade your ship.
The slow down period from a well-timed dodge, is way more useful than parrying.
The best looking game evere seen they deserve to be game of the year but sony had to win.God of War is great to but Odyssey is much better .
Playin rpg open world games like this means exploring ,grinding doing everything they put there ,side quest ,main quest ,fetch me this and that quest and if you r not up to this you better not play rpg games .This is not a multy fps where you run around shooting each other in ass.

My only real gripe on this game is the flashing red power attacks and there being to way to counter them, its simply dodge or die.
I still haven't beaten the main story i have 87 hours invested and still love the game

Actually there is a cost to repsec your character… do your damn research. The cost is drachmae.
If you note.. when you reset your skills… you are charged gold for it each and every time.. Look at your gold in the video before you reset you skills and after.. big change in wealth… The old adage// "Nothing's Free" applies here
