I made 25 wheat farms with tractors all in range of a single trade union. With the bonuses each farm maxes at 485%
The whole thing is just so stupid that I don't have words.. Trade unions? Tractors? silos? warehouses? just facepalm.
But what about the trade union buildings they can give you boosts
this isn’t efficient at all.
Will this same setup work using silos?
Useful stuff, thanks mate. Will you be doing an updated video to include the new Bright Harvest additions?
Thank you for these wonderful tips. Very helpful.
The problem with trying so hard to fit everything in to a rectangle, is you lose your general space efficiency. I don't put any fields in open land like that. I build them in such a way that they directly feed the distillery or Mill or whatever, but I run the fields along the coast and cliffs to sort of square them off. It's all wasted space otherwise.
This design may look aesthetically great but is so bad in more ways then 1. If this was placed on a big island designed just for production then yes it may work after adding what is missing. But having this on a main island is horrible becouse of its square design. the 4 sheep farms on the upper area of the design u made have no workcloth buildings near them. i doubt they reach the buttom area and even if they do that is a long ass way to travel that´s gonna bottleneck the supply chain. So they gonna take up loading space of the warehouse and if u deside to add them later u might have to move the entire thing if it was placed near an upper edge. Farms should also never be placed in open areas if it can be avoided. Farm fields like potatos/grain are perfect to place near mountains, very narrow paths and in the corners as they can be placed in whatever strange way to fit in. Sheep farms can also do that to a lesser degree. 66% of this entire big square is taken up by buildings/farms that can easily fit into areas where other buildings cant. This design would need atleas 2 more warehouses to not bottleneck the supply chain.
Also the building ratio is completly wrong.
2 Grain farms into 1 Flour mill into 2 Bakerys. U got 2 grain farms into 2 Flour mills into 1 Bakery.
1 pig into 1 Sausage, U got 8 pigs into 3 Sausage.
Your potato into schnapps is correct. 4 potato into 4 schnapps
1 Sheep farm into 1 workcloth. U got 8 sheep farms into 3 workcloth.
Only counting end product u got 4 schnapps, 3 Workcloth, 1 Bakery, 3 Sausage. 7 goods ever 30 sec, bakery and Sausage is on 1 min. 1 warehouse cant handle that. Lets add the goods in betwinn. U gonna over supply flour right away with only 1 bakery. U got 5 pig farms and 5 sheep farms to many. Now u got somewhat around 18-20 goods every 30 sec Now ofc i understand u not gonna build all of this at the same time. Unless u wanna over produce lets say pigs for soap later over producing is a very bad ide as it takes up loading space in the warehouse. Whats worse is that it isent even complete. If u gonna use it after all those buildings are build. U would need to add 5 Sausage, 2 grain farms, 3 bakerys and 5 workcloth to make these chains even. That is not gonna fit in next to this unless this was placed in a very widely open area along with atleast 2-3 more warehouses as upgrading them can be very costly before enginers. It is far better to make a layout for each building chain or maybe 2 at most like Sausage and soap rather then adding in several unrelated in 1 design.
Not really convinced yet about this game. Isn't this a takeoff of SimCity and Farmville and games like that?
Problem is you doesn’t account for the production time, as neat it might seems; such as bread production: wheat farm produce 1t produce per 60 seconds, same as bakery while mill produce flour 1t per 30 seconds (2t/60s). Cases like this requires you to make 2:1:2 (farm to mill to bakery ratio) and tries to create a uninterrupted product chain to maximise efficiency
Lets play multiplayer at Anno 1800 setup
click on a wharehouse mate. i want to see how maxed out it is. you should be watching tutorials not giving them. your off chops bro.
I had no idea you could SELECT everything you wanted to copy and paste. this is epic thank you!!!
You can exceed the Maximum field Cap by clicking shift
Why are the farms set up that way? should they be closer to maximize the area, and easier to reach for fire stations?
Only one warehouse though?
Love building my windmills in the grain field
