In this video we have 10 tips that will help you improve your carving snowboard turns! A carve is when you ride your snowboards edge around a turn. Carving is an aggressive way to turn with your snowboard with speed and control. Carving is also necessary if you want to do spinning ticks in the park and for riding the half pipe. You can start learning to carve by focusing on one turn at a time. For the toe carve focusing on bending your knees toward the snow. For the heel carve pretending like you’re sitting in a chair. As the individual carves improve you can start linking them together on a mellow slope. Always progress at your own pace and be safe while practicing your snowboard carving turns. Thanks for watching!

I love the snow but don’t dislike they are just trying to teach you
6:18 im bording like that
Is this nakiska?
This is at Mt. Rose, NV?
Interesting, I've heard stand up a bit on heel side
I'm trying snowboarding for the first time and these videos get me so excited. I've been skiing for 5 years first time snowboarding YAY!
I am from kashmir and i like snowbord
It's so hard for me to rapidly switch from the two main position… _/__ _|_ _/__
My problem is that I have my body always hanging like behind the board so the board is pulling me and my center of mass is not right above the middle of the board
maybe I'm afraid of the speed but I went skiing for over 10 years and if being afraid of the speed is my problem I definitely need to practice more
but perhaps someone has some tips for me
I would appreciate it
Thanks
Sorry, but don't make a video were you discribe Carving Tuns. And you only telling nonsense. I didn't see one carving turn in this video. The turns are drivtet not carved. Whats with the high or deep unweighting. And the aktiv riding position
Lmaoo me watching this in summer be like 👁👄👁
can anyone tell me where this was filmed?
Thanks guys. Do you guys have camber boards for carving? I/m looking into improving my carving and seems that camber is the way to go for stable edge-holding carving? I want to make as big a trench that i can. I only do groomers and I don't do any more side hit jumps, or parks at all and I'm just directional only, but like speed sometimes on a highly predictable/well-known run.
Thank you !
Its very apreciate !!
It's important that you learn to steer with the lower part of your legs, this way it's easier to maintain balance while switching from toes to heels and the other way around. Deep knee bend and a relaxed upper body are key for a high speed carve
I got myself into a bad habit. I can ride my heel perfectly fine. But I CAN NOT ride my toe edge and that’s obviously holding my back from S’s and actually riding how you should. Should I maybe take a lesson ?
Why would you want to get smaller faster carves on steep hills? Sounds dangerous so it doesn’t make sense to me.
Learned how to snowboard by watching your videos! Thank you!!!!!
I have to remind myself all the time, bend your knees on those toes turns…and we I have to turn I always forget 😂…one day, one day!
Exaggurate.
That helmet lol
I love tip #10! A mental image of how you should look like when snowboarding helps me a lot especially thinking about how you do it in your videos! Thanks guys!
I find your videos incredibly helpful. Thanks for all of your great explanations!
I can’t do toe for shit but I Heel like a boss, both sides HELP
are you a certified instructor?

9:38 Sad Chris…
Helmet so high off his head it probably wouldnt protect him
Sorry guys but check out #RyanKnapton (Ryan Knapton) and his videos with tips and tricks for carving. This guy really knows how to seriously carve. No sliding on both sides while thinking you're carving. 🙈
Y am I watching this I’m never gonna be able to afford to do it 🤦♂️
Basically it's shifting your weight to chest and lean forward, or shifting your weight to bum and sit down
11:09 Prince Harry?

Bet you guys didn't know you would never work again off the views/ads payout on this video! 🙂
Where are you snowboarding?
Nose picking at 4:10
I just wanted to ask some quick questions.
What is reverse camber and what’s the advantage to having a board with it ?
I love snowboarding but i live in Asia :((
Thank you so much for all the tips and tricks for riding on the mountains. I’ve watched so many of videos; sometimes I’ll rewatch the same ones just so I can get down the stance correctly. This was my first year sending it and your videos have helped me learn and improve so much over the past season. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge!! 🙏🙏🙏
Looks like the dude with the tan jacket has some serious heel overhang, no?
I love this video 😂😂😂 — I'm trying the exaggeration tip and it's working 👏👏 You two are amazing!! (Btw: min. 4:11 hillarious 😂)
Who else loves the sound of snow
I’ve only had 2 weeks on the mountain 1 in 2018 and 1 in 2019. How do you get over the fear of going onto your toe edge..
I think you should learn to carve yourselves before you teach others? There isn't a single segment of carving in the whole video… They're all sliding turns and poorly executed for the most part
these black slopes looks like red one's in europe..
HOWL! Diggin Chris' gloves!
What kind of goggles are those
