don't kill summoning enemies, use their summons to boost up your rank style. also please don't hammer Exceed, hold it then release then hold it, it's much faster, and if you're feeling extra lucky time it right after a swing to insta-charge it.

Know the "story"
The exceed tip is off / wrong. You don't spam it, you hold it longer, maybe .3 seconds? dunno but 3x that does the trick, try it out. ALSO, you do NOT have to unlock the old DMC4 after-attack-EX charge, you can do it from the start (the upgrade just improves it). finally, it does not do an afterexplosion but powers the next strike. super awesome. Try getting it down for the first basic slash and work from there.
Wow, people that clearly can barely play the game make tips and tricks videos nowadays, cool. Also it’s so clear that the guy playing never played a previous DMC and that’s kinda disrespectful
DON'T kill the summoning enemies, use their summons to style on and boost your rating.

Don't just tap button for exceed gauge. Press and hold the button for just a second, release and repeat a few times to "rev it up"

1)when did their names sound similar?? Vergil, Dante, trish, lady, nero, kyrie, nico, credo, mundus, sparda….hmmm…
2)charging exceed charges blue rose? Since when? Or did i hear wrongly on the last point?
Besides vergil wanting to beat dante, is there another reason why he wants more power?

faster to rev one tap then two long presses
You don't hammer LT to charge up exceed. You press and hold it until you hear the engine level out in RPMs, then you press and hold it again, and again and again. That's the way to do it.

Keyword rev stop tapping and u will get there faster if I remember in 4 it took 3 good full revs to get 1 charge I dont know exactly but I know revving is faster than tapping
