I have a tip for hand of the king: spend your money for upgrades as you won't use it later, and for mutation change. For example frenzy changed to dead inside. Practical
Finally picked this game up during the last Steam summer sale and I'd actually figured out most of these tips on my own. I managed to work my way up through 3-cell mode without too much pain, but 4-cell's malaise mechanic really hurts. I've been picking away at it for unlocks, but I'm not sure how much further I'm willing to invest in refining my skills to push myself up to the next level.
Since 5-cell is only longer and not actually any harder I suppose I could pick away at it for unlocks too, but Hand of the King is still a major barrier for me. I've only managed to beat him at 4-cell once and only just barely, so the exclusive final level and boss is something I'm probably still a long ways off from being ready for… if ever.

Also, with the new update, most crossbows are now survival and are 2 handed with a second ability but are still relatively slow. Just adding some new info out there. Thanks again

Use the Dash Shield thingy , It parrys a decent area in front of you instead of in front of your face + you can Push Enemies of platforms to Avoid or kill them

Do you think it's possible to finish the game with 5 boss cells in tactics with no shield?
I'm watching the video thinking on the fuck i'll play Dead Cells on my phone without raging because i've died. '-'
I got the hang of the game very nicely got to 1 boss cell, and a lucky run got me the second cell. I have now 40 hours in the game and i feel stuck.
Every time i start i get hit pretty early, die to easy enemies and stuff like that. Rhe furtheat i got was to stilt village on 2 boss cells and gor wrecked by the grenade throwing pirates. Any tips for that? I dont know i should take my time or just practice more… its juat getting frustrating.
will you be doing another one for the new stuff, or is it not applicable with it really only being updates to the early game? I've not played in a while TBH, but I bought the DLC regardless when it came out.

Played it.. Die ..not sure why it when back to the begining. The map changed all 10 times i died. Got the game put up for sale.

I never use Survial (mostly because i dont have any mutations or gear) so dont know how good it can be running this.
Brutality is what i go most of the time, there i have the most gear + mutations that i love to use like electric whip + impaler do the trick for me
For Tactics well that is another story, most of the traps i have are tactics and nearly all ranged weapons.
Long story short for me it depends on what gear you have for each type and if you can handle the fighting style + combinations like two melee or melee + ranged or two ranged weapons or shields and what you use secondary grenades, traps, turrents or abilities or combinations of these.
